Chargers Hook Up with Port Credit BIA
The Chargers are pleased to announce their affiliation with the Port Credit BIA. The Port Credit Business Improvement Area supports and fosters business development in the village of Port Credit. The group which boasts a membership of over 300 local businesses meets on a regular basis throughout the year and is an organizer of many exciting events going on around the Port Credit area.
"Becoming a part of the local BIA and attending their events is a key component of our marketing plan." states Dave Robinson the teams marketing rep. "We have to be out in the community meeting people on a regular basis to remind them of our presence as Port Credit's Junior A Hockey Team. Not only will we be attending BIA meetings but we will be volunteering our time to help with the events that the BIA produce."
Members of the BIA who are in need of volunteers for an event or special promotion should contact the team to arrange for some players to lend a hand. We are an elite hockey team, we are on skates typically 5 times a week but we will make time for local businesses who need our help.
"The best way to get people to know your sports team is to give back to the community," adds Robinson.
